Mimi Pfahler is an independent filmmaker and archival researcher based in New York City and San Francisco. She completed her BFA in Film at Pratt Institute in 2019.
Her short documentary Live With the Bad Pictures (2016) has screened at galleries around the world, including Gallery ‘O’ Space in Aarhus, Denmark,
Emalin Projects and Live Art Development Agency
in London, and the Lab in San Francisco.
Her narrative shorts have been featured in Rookie Magazine, on Artgrease Channel (Pittsburgh, PA) and at BAM Cinematek (Brooklyn, NY).
She is currently in post-production on her senior thesis short, A Place Around the Neck.
